To promote the Okayama Art Summit 2025 and the new Okayama City Hall currently under construction, a mural titled “Okayama City of the Future” was painted on the temporary wall surrounding the construction site by instructor Hikaru Shintani and local elementary school students on Sunday, December 1, 2024. A completion ceremony was held the following day on Monday, December 2.

This project was part of the official commemorative event marking 300 days before the opening of the Okayama Art Summit 2025. Moving forward, we plan to continue organizing various events in cooperation with both public and private sectors.

Date: Sunday, December 1 and Monday, December 2, 2024
Place: Temporary enclosure at the construction site of the new Okayama City Hall (Omochi 1-chome, Kita-ku, Okayama City)
